What is the keyboard shortcut associated with "Execute Block"? Call me a noob if you will, but I don't see anything on my keyboard that looks like whatever that glyph is...
What key (or keys) is that supposed to be? |

Not a stupid question at all. It's a really cryptic character that Apple uses for the enter key. So the command sequence is command-enter. The next rev for the docs, for V2, will definitely spell this out, as you're not the first to wonder or ask.

| I'd like to see this keystroke changed from command-keypad-enter to just plain command-enter. This would mirror the keystroke used by TOAD (ctrl-enter) for the same thing. |

| Do you mean command-return? Depends on the keyboard I guess, but at least my Apple keyboard doesn't have a non-number-keypad Enter. Now my laptop on the other hand has a non-keypad Enter, but it also doesn't have a number keypad... |

Many Mac applications distinguish between pressing the Enter key on the keypad, and pressing the Return key on the main keyboard. They even have different names to emphasise this difference
However, on Windows computers, both are called Enter, and both do exactly the same thing from my experience.
So rather than mimicking a Windows application which doesn't know any better, use the features that the Mac offers.
From my understanding, the Enter key on a Mac will (almost) always click the default button in a window. If in a text box, it often does nothing. The Return key in a multi-line text box will usually insert a newline. If it is in a single-line text box, or the focus is not in the text box, then Return clicks the default button.
BTW, another peculiarity of both operating systems is the Delete key. On a Mac, the main keyboard has a key labelled Delete. For Windows, this key is labelled Backspace. On the mini-keypad between the main keyboard and the numeric keypad is a key labelled Delete. On the Mac the main keyboard Delete key is required for most operations that delete something. For Windows, it is the mini-keypad key that must be pressed.
Cheers
