Hi there,
I downloaded the global version if MacGourmet and would like to use the german localized version. As my Mac is in english MacGourmet started in English as well. Is there a way to force/configure the language?
I'd also like to know if the nutrition plug-in is also localized?
thanks,

Hi Daniel,
Because the localizations are still a work in progress, you have to be using German as your primary language to use the localization right now. Some things aren't completed yet, so you still have to have the English localization enabled to use it, and that will be the one used if you are running your Mac with the English localization as the primary one.
Regarding Nutrition being localized, no it's not. At the current time the only freely available nutritional information database that I'm aware of is the one from the USDA, which is an english-only database (though at its core it's using the metric system). Localizing that would just be too big a job to happen any time soon, if at all.
