|
|
Hello all,
I was just trying out SQLGrinder 2.0b1 and I have found that the browser doesn't seem to work with jTDS driver. It works fine on the same database with the same user id with the Microsoft Driver. Any ideas why?
Thanks,
John |

Hi there,
If you open the console application, are there any messages that get printed there? What version of the driver are you using so that I can try connecting to the SQL Server instance I have with the same version.

Yes, I get: cacheExceptionStrings: reimplement I am using jTDS JDBC driver 1.1 (the current stable production version).

Hm, that's it? That message is actually ok, just a reminder I haven't removed yet. I'll check out using that driver with my own SQL Server and see what's up.

Just finally checking on this, is there any additional info that you can provide? I used the jTDS 1.1 driver to connect to my SQL Server database without a problem. Are you sure you are using the correct driver configuration information?
FYI, the next beta driver database will be updated to include this driver, so that custom configuration will no longer be necessary.
Is it just the schema browser that is giving you a problem?

It just seems to be a browser problem. But I am not sure that the keyword information is working or not. It doesn't seem to find my table name but I don't know if that is the way this is supposed to work or not.
